Why are the CFFitness facial exercises so effective?

I receive emails from people telling me that they’ve tried many other facial exercise programs but they didn’t start to get the results they wanted in such a short period of time until they tried using the CFFitness system.  Why is this happening?

I had lots to correct when I started

There are several reasons why the CFF facial exercise program is so effective. The first one has to do with me. Yes!  I was already 52 years old when I started with facial exercises and had recently just lost around 50 pounds. My neck was wrinkled and ringed, my jowls made me look like a tired old bull dog and the wrinkles on my face and forehead were especially very, very deep. In other words, I had a lot to correct. That was why I tried so many programs to find out what was the most efficient (I knew I would not devote more than 15 minutes a workout on my face) and effective facial exercises for addressing all my issues.  I was past prevention and totally into correction. I had to find facial exercises that worked.

Since everyone seems to have a different face, how can one Facial Exercise program fit all?

Build a Perfect Foundation, First

One standardized facial exercise program cannot fit all facial types.  This is why Carolyn's Facial Fitness™ facial exercises have "bonus exercises" and "extra"  facial exercise routines in our whole system to be sure you get the results you want. With that said, however, we've found that you'll get the best results - that is an elegant, powerful and balanced build on the face and neck if you first do what we've designed to be "foundational exercises".  That is you lay the foundation of the perfect build on which you can further improve, if necessary, with proven additional help using these special bonuses. This initial build demonstrated on our DVD is the 28 basic foundational exercises that are found in the CFFitness™ program.

Interactive Muscle Chart

Well, it's been a long time coming, but I finally got around to researching and drawing in detail an Interactive Muscle Chart!  As an amateur artist, it was such fun to draw these muscles … deciding which ones were the most important for my clients to see so they can understand even better why the CFFitness™ facial exercise program is designed the way it is. So, I named those muscles most of us need to know about when exercising the face and neck.  For example, you can now easily see which muscles are engaged with which CFFitness™ exercise.

The Muscle Chart Lights-up in Three Different Ways

First of all, I listed all of the names of the muscles on the left side of the webpage.

Cleansing Scrub Revamped

Newly-sized Jojoba Beads

Some of you may have noticed that the new CFFormulas™ Cleansing Scrub is a little different than it was before. We still have all the same incredible ingredients that we've always had, but we changed the size of the waxed jojoba beads in the scrub to being much, much smaller than before. These newly-sized beads makes the scrub that much more effective! You can exfoliate the skin faster and more efficiently than before with these smaller, more evenly spaced waxed beads.

The Skin's pH

The Importance of the Skin's pH

The pores of our skin are made up of a combination of oil and sweat glands (sebaceous and sudoriferous glands) helping to keep our skin healthy and elastic. Making sure the skin's pH is in a healthy range will ensure the health of our skin even more.

The Acid Mantle

This slightly acidic layer, the "acid mantle", is our body's first defense mechanism against invading bacteria.  This defense layer develops at puberty when we start to produce more hair on our bodies and activate the sebaceous oil glands at the same time. This is what changes our skin pH to somewhere between 4.5 and 6.2, which is the normal pH range for the skin. Children are more susceptible to disease, viruses and fungal infections such as ringworm because the pH of children’s skin is closer to the neutral pH of 7.

In the late teens to early twenties, our acid mantle is well developed and provides good protection against potentially harmful, external environmental factors. Consequently, our skin usually looks healthy, heals quickly when injured and seems to take care of itself.
