Season’s Greetings!
Welcome to the Newsletter for 2008. Once a year I send out this Newsletter letting all of my loyal past customers receive the latest and greatest “discoveries” I’ve made about facial exercises during this past year.
This year we’re offering the 3-step Décolleté exercise for giving you a smooth and full looking chest area. You’ll also be able to even out that cleavage and address the wrinkling that can happen where the top of the arm meets the chest. You’ll understand everything more clearly when you view the pictures below.
This routine has been worked out over more than a one year period. It was tested by 6 people of different genders, ethnicity and ages. Everyone should see good results within 3 months. Keeping in mind that age and skin type, not to mention environmental “damage” all have to be taken into consideration when expecting certain results.
In the beginning, during the first three months, you can perform this routine more than once a day. After that maintenance is easy. While I’m in my early sixties, I’ve found that this workout performed only once after every regular CFF™ workout gave me exactly the results I wanted. It took me about 8 weeks to start to see a very noticeable result. It took another 4 months to give me exactly what I wanted.
3-step Décolleté Exercise
This routine is now a “free” video clip, The Simple Decolletage & Neck Shaping Routine. The décolleté can be plumped up and the skin smoothed out with this exercise workout over time. Remember, one of the secrets of the CFF system is that you are sliding over the skin with a contracted muscle underneath the skin. You are NOT stretching the skin, you are sliding OVER the skin, toning the muscles in the process. The muscles of the face are connected directly into the skin which allows us to show facial expression. As you tone the muscles, the skin lifts up with the tighter, smoother muscle. And, as the muscle tones and smoothes out, the wrinkles also become less deep. To read more about this, please go to my article on Facial Exercises Can Firm up the Skin.
Step #1: The Décolleté and Cleavage Smoothing
Purpose: To smooth and fill out the décolleté area of the chest while addressing the wrinkles forming at the cleavage; as well, to give a smoother and less wrinkled skin around the area where the arm meets the chest.
- Place your thumb from your right hand starting at the center of the chest where the cleavage normally begins. Photo #1
- Flex your upper chest until you can see the muscle contract and feel it tighten.
- Slide your thumb from the center of the cleavage up along the chest, pressing firmly yet gently until you end at the armpit, where the arm meets the chest. Photo #2
- Perform this movement 3 times, each time ending approximately one inch higher above the space where the arm meets the chest and always starting at the center of the chest where the cleavage normally begins.
You have just executed three slides one inch apart on the left side of your chest. Now perform the same three movements on the right side of the chest, using your left thumb as the slider.
Remember: to keep the contraction of the muscles during the entire sliding performance.

Starting with your thumb pressed firmly yet gently at the place where the cleavage normally begins, slide your thumb against your chest ending at the armpit. That is where the arm meets the chest. The muscle of the chest is contracted. | After you have slid along the chest as mentioned in Photo #1, you should end at the armpit, where the arm meets the chest. |
Step #2: Where the Arm meets the Chest Smoothing
Purpose: To smooth out, prevent and/or alleviate any wrinkling that has formed where the top of the arm meets the chest at the armpit.
- Place the four fingers from your right hand under your left armpit, where the arm meets the chest. Photo #3
- Contract the muscles in this area under the armpit and along the chest. Slide with your fingertips against the resistance of the contracted muscle to end with your fingertips resting on the chest Photo #4
- Press gently, yet firmly with each slide. Repeat three times.
You have just executed three slides on the left side of your chest where the top of the arm meets it. Now perform the same three movements on the right side of the chest/armpit area, using your left four fingers as the slider.
Remember: to keep the contraction of the muscles during the entire sliding performance.

Place all four fingers from the right hand just under the left armpit. Contract the muscles in this area under the armpit and along the chest. Slide against the resistance of the contracted muscle to end with your fingertips resting on the chest. See Photo #4
Perform three slides |
You should end with your fingertips resting against your chest where the arm meets the chest, after sliding and pressing gently with your fingers against the contracting muscles. |
Step #3: Shaping and Smoothing the Neck Muscles
Purpose: To smooth out the muscles of the neck in such a way as to give the décolleté area a more youthful and firm look.
- Looking straight ahead, turn your head to the left.
- Grasp with your thumb and fingers from the left hand the large muscle standing out on the neck just under the place where the jaw meets the bottom of the ear. Photo #5
- Turn your head to look straight ahead and as you turn, you will feel the muscle disappearing back into the neck. Gently squeezing this muscle as you turn your head, letting the fingers and thumb of the left hand slide across this muscle until the fingers and the thumb meet. Photo #6
- Repeat this head turning, grasping, and squeezing of the muscle, three times. Once at the top of the muscle, next in the middle of the muscle and lastly at the bottom of the muscle where the neck meets the collarbone. You have just completely three turns and three slides on the upper, middle and lower part of the neck muscle.
- Next, grasp with your thumb and fingers from the right hand and perform the same workout on the muscle on the left side of the neck.
Note: You will be sliding perpendicular to the muscle on each side of the neck. You will feel the muscle “disappear” back into the neck as you turn from looking sideways to straight ahead as you grasp, squeeze and slide.

Turning your head to the side, grasp the muscle standing out with your fingers and thumb from the opposite hand. Start at the top of the muscle; grasp the muscle turn, your head so it faces forward and slide the fingers together until they meet. | When you have turned your head back to the front your fingers and thumb will be touching each other and the muscle on which you were working will have disappeared back into the neck. |
That’s it. Enjoy! And may you have a happy and joyous New Year!
Warmest Regards,
Carolyn
