Sample Facial Exercises

This exercise targets the firming and lifting of the lower jowl area and lifts the corners of the mouth at the same time. Carolyn turns 75 this month!

Perform once a day, 4 times a week for 8 weeks, going to 3 times a week thereafter.

Purpose: To firm the muscles of the face and eliminate fine lines on the jowls, cheeks and to the temples.

This is the third step of of the 4-Step Wrinkle Releasing & Detacking Technique.

This exercise will help to release stuck down wrinkles in the forehead and smooth it out.

Use this exercise at your own discretion, being aware that you can overdo it and create an abrasion. Carolyn will be 75 in 3 months.

This is the fourth step of of the 4-Step Wrinkle Releasing & Detacking Technique.

This exercise flattens the “elevens” between the brows and smooths the forehead. Carolyn will be 75 in 3 months.

Perform three times in a row, once a day, 5 days a week for 3 weeks, going to 3 times a week thereafter until you are on maintenance.

This simple eye massage must always be performed on a moisturized face. Be sure to contract the bottom eyelid every time you make a pass with your fingers. This massage alleviates dark circles and undereye puffiness. Lymphatic drainage is also involved.

This exercise is used to lift and shape your cheeks for a higher cheekbone “look”. Carolyn will be 75 in 3 months.

Perform 4 times a week for 6 weeks, once a day. Perform 3 times a week for 8 more weeks. Perform twice a week until maintenance.

Cartilage continues to grow as we age. This exercise will help to smooth and tighten the cartilage in your ears and nose. Carolyn will be 75 in 3 months.

Perform once a day, 5 days a week for one month. Then, once a day 3 days a week for one more month. Then, once a day 2 days a week until maintenance.

Be sure to only make 5 “gulps” per round and no more than 5 rounds at a session. Do not engage the jawbone, but rather put your attention to the double chin area and see this firm up over time.

Suggested use: 3 times a week in the beginning to help firm-up the double chin area. Go to twice a week, thereafter.

Sample Facial Exercises

“The Brush” is designed to firm the double chin and jawline, while erasing lines and minimizing cording in the neck.

Moisturize the skin under your chin and down your neck to your collar bone.

Place your open hand at the base of your throat, stretched across your collarbone. Holding your hand down, extend your neck upwards, leading with your chin but NOT stretching with your bottom jaw. Make a partial fist with your other hand and place the tops of your four fingers between the first and second knuckle just under your jaw line and below the ear. Press firmly but not so hard as to create too much friction:

  • Starting under one ear and ending just under the other ear, “brush” the area along the jaw line, but under the chin and jaw with the tops of these fingers, moving back and forth
  • Now, reverse directions and brush clear across the double chin area under the jaw from one side to the other with firm pressure. Tip: Press the tip of your tongue to the roof of the mouth during this phase of the exercise.
  • Next, continue brushing across the neck, up and down with firm pressure from one side to the other.
  • Change hands.
  • Starting again under one ear and ending just under the other ear, “brush” the area along the jaw line, moving back and forth with firm pressure
  • Now reverse direction and brush clear across the double chin area under the jaw from one side to the other.
  • Continue brushing across the neck, up and down with firm pressure from one side to the other.
  • Changing hands with each round, perform up to 5 rounds at a time.

“The Face Firmer” is designed to be performed with the 28 foundational exercises from the CFF™ DVD.

Only “massage” the face when the muscles are contracted:

  • Open your mouth as wide as comfortable while at the same time, curling your lips up and over your upper and bottom teeth.
  • Smile with the corners of your mouth.
  • To start, place the heel of each hand on each side of the chin along the jaw line.
  • You are pressing down with the heel of each hand and making rapid circles – both clockwise and counter-clockwise are okay – and you are NOT sliding across the skin.
  • Follow the Face Firmer video clip to learn the correct handholds for learning each step and proper form of the Face Firmer routine.
  • Always perform the Face Firmer routine every time you perform the 28 foundational exercises ensuring the build stays balanced and even.

One of the secrets of the CFF™ system: When you contract the muscles as you slide over the skin you are toning the muscles in the process. You are NOT stretching the skin. As the skin lifts up with the tighter, smoother muscle, the wrinkles also become less deep.
