Circle Up Rub Technique

Purpose: To firm the muscles of the face and eliminate fine lines on the jowls, cheeks and to the temples.
Caution: Only do this on a face that is either wet with cleanser or wet with moisturizer and be sure the muscles are contracted. Never perform on a “dry” face.

Make a strong “O” shape with your mouth by wrapping your lips around your upper and lower teeth. Your mouth is open about one-inch wide. Smile with your cheeks. Using your fingertips from both hands, massage the entire lower part of your face, starting at the jowl area and going up to the temples. (photos 1, 2, 3 & 4) Press gently, yet firmly making small, rapid circles with your fingertips on your slippery skin and move up the face, across the jaw and cheeks ending at the temples. Be sure to keep your facial muscles contracted the whole time you perform the circles.

Repeat 10 times

Perform the Circle Up Rub – performed every morning and evening in front of the bathroom mirror. 5 passes each time. Be sure to moisturize. At the end of the 5 passes here is what I want you to do:

For your mouth wrinkles:

• Close your mouth so your lips are touching. Wrap your bottom and top lips around your teeth (lips are still slightly touching)

• With your right hand flat, place your fingertips on the left corner of your mouth and with the mouth contracted as described above (and well moisturized) pushing gently, yet firmly, slide the fingers across the lips, ending at the right corner of the mouth.

• Now, take your left hand and place it on the right corner of your mouth and swipe it over your lips so it ends at the left corner of the mouth

• Those are the two movements to perform

• Now, swipe left and then swipe right over the contracted mouth muscles in a rapid motion so your hands are going left … right … left … right … over and over again quite rapidly as you slowly count to 40. You will make a “slapping” motion as you swipe from left to right, rapidly.

• You should see a reduction in your lip lines within 3 weeks and it gets better and better over time.

• Perform this once in the morning and once in the evening after you perform the Circle-up Rub. Five days a week.

For the chin and jowls smoothing:

• Wrap your bottom lip over your bottom teeth so the bottom of your face is in contraction.

• With your right hand flat, place your fingertips on the left corner of your chin, just below the left corner of the mouth and on the left side of the chin, pushing gently, yet firmly, slide the fingers across the chin, ending at the right corner of the chin, below the right corner of the mouth. Be sure to moisturize, first!

• Now, take your left hand and place it on the right corner of your chin and swipe it over your chin so it ends at the left corner of the chin (below the left corner of the mouth) Remember to keep your bottom lip over your bottom teeth.

• Those are the two movements to perform

• Now, swipe left and then swipe right over the chin in a rapid motion so your hands are going left … right … left … right … over and over again quite rapidly as you slowly count to 40. You will “make” a slapping motion as your swipe from left to right, rapidly.

• This will not only smooth out your chin, it will also smooth the jowl area, as well! That wrinkly, papery skin will smooth out and be smooth over time.
