RSR2 is more effective than ever before
Rejuvenating Skin Repair has been one of my favorite serums of all times. Its properties have been outstanding in revitalizing tired skin and imparting a rejuvenated look to the skin. As time has gone by, I have continued to watch the industry and the latest “natural” discoveries for skin care in particular. When new forms of expelling oils from nuts and seeds came onto the market, allowing the oils to retain more of their natural healing properties, we decided to change the formulation on this fabulous serum to make it even more effective in revitalizing the skin.
Upgraded ingredients
We’ve kept the Carrot Seed Oil in the new formulation, as it’s high content of Vitamin A is so very nourishing for the skin. We’ve made it more predominant in this new formula. This means, we use more of it in this formula than we did in the original formula for RSR. Because this new RSR2 formula stars this beta-carotene-rich carrot oil, it has that light, bright scent of carrot oil*. This scent dissipates within a few minutes after application. I’ve come to associate this scent, with this new formula, with revitalizing my skin. I was surprised when I first started using the new RSR2 to see how my skin now retains moisture more than it did and the texture of my skin is finer and smoother and over-all improved! I love this new RSR2!

New oils on the market help reduce wrinkles
And, we’ve added Tamanu Oil for its ability to drastically improve the appearance of scars and skin blemishes. Lines and wrinkles have the same properties as scars, so this new formulation helps with this aspect of reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles!
Healing properties for the skin
Another important change to the formula has been the addition of Sunflower Seed Oil, which is high in essential fatty acids which help to moisturize and nourish the skin. It’s also rich in Vitamin E which is related to improving the skin health and regenerating cells. Vitamin E, Vitamin B3 and Ester C have also been retained in the new formula. All known for their healing properties of skin. Our Vegan DMAE continues to help tighten and firm the muscles, as well.
Avocado Oil
We’ve also added Avocado Oil to this new formulation. In a study done at the Department of Food Engineering and Biotechnology, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in 1991, it was found that avocado oil significantly increases the amount of collagen in the skin – which normally is under attack as we grow older.
Finer-looking skin
Since using the RSR2, the test group and myself (not to be harping, but it’s amazing how much smoother and “plumper” my skin is) have noticed that all of us had our skin retain moisture better than it used to. The skin on our faces, necks and tops of our hands is finer-looking and feels thicker, looking plumper and therefore younger, as well. And, of course, organic ingredients are starring in all of the CFFormulas products!
*The new RSR2 has a stronger botanical smell on first application that dissipates within 3 minutes, at the most. It's a very healing serum!
